The Independent Television Network Limited (also known as ITN or simply as ITN Sri Lanka) is a Sri Lankan state governed television and radio broadcaster. It operates two TV channels (ITN and Vasantham TV) and two radio channels (Lakhanda and Vasantham FM). ITN operates in six main divisions. Its Marketing Division is responsible for coordinating media sponsorships with various stakeholders. The Engineering segment aims to improve the technical quality of programmes and facilities for programme productions. The Programme Division introduces programmes that cater to its audience, in Sinhala, English and Tamil. News and Current Affairs is tasked with arousing humanitarian aspects. Lakhanda and Vasantham FM serve Sinhala and Tamil speaking communities in Sri Lanka through various programmes. Founded in 1979, ITN is located in Battaramulla, Sri Lanka.
