Sri Lanka’s Ceylon Chamber of Commerce said it will have a session on state enterprise reform at an upcoming annual economic summit starting from December 05-06.
The session on SOE reform will be on December 06.
“The session will focus on the ideal overall framework for SOE reform, which models can be explored for deregulation and divestment and the reform outlook for key State institutions,” the Chamber of Commerce said in a statement.
“As well as addressing the pertinent questions of how to better communicate the urgent need for reforms in order to ensure public, trade union and another stakeholder buy-in.”
